Black Death started when Marcel Tuijnenburg and Bart Hanselaar wanted to create music together in July '89 at Darkgreen Studios, after listening to music from Bart's own project.
Both having different musical influences and skills it meant we created various projects.
All 'bands' got their own name, and their work had to be released to the world.
We created Black Death label/distributer to do just that.
In 2 years time Black Death issued almost 50 releases.
This includes cooperation projects with other bands/labels.
Our production was halted in the fall of 1991, until now that is.
